Yay Evie
Go Evie go!
One World Project and its community have such a special place in our heart! Our entire family is running to help fundraise and support this wonderful and nurturing school. OWP is a Spanish-immersion pre-K and after school program dedicated to fostering multiculturalism, ecological awareness, and a love for the arts. This particular fundraiser aims to further advance the school’s commitment to diversity, and we have promised to raise $250. Any donation that helps us reach our target would be deeply appreciated! The fundraising run is an important way to raise money to close funding gaps for NYC’s pre-K and ensure each classroom continues to have incredible resources and teachers.
Justin, Kate, Evelyn and Cillian!
On Saturday, March 15 we’ll be running or walking the Brooklyn Spring Half, 10K, 5K a wonderful event that will allow all our team to pick the race that is best for them.
Friday, April 25 is La Vuelta. We’ll gather at One World Project and the kids (and some grownups) will run or walk or scoot along Vanderbilt, down East 4th, up, along Greenwood Avenue, and up East 3rd. We’ll end the race with a party with upcycled medals for all participants. In Spanish, la vuelta means loop, like the one we’ll do around the block. Vuelta also means return. If your children have grown and you are no longer part of our preschool or after school program please consider La Vuelta an invitation to return to OWP for a visit. We would love to see you!
On Sunday, April 27 we will join half marathoners for NYC Runs, an epic running journey.
With love and care we have built a nurturing school and community center committed to learning. We want to sustain what makes OWP so special and grow our community fund so that OWP is accessible to more families. Together we’ll be working to raise $60,000 to support OWP.
We truly appreciate anything you are able to give.
